Or do buyers not care about this at all? I would like to put in a deep soaking tub but we're only planning on staying here another year or two. The tub costs about $2,000 plus installation. Right now there's just a standard small tub in the bathroom. If you were looking at a home that had a deep soaking tub instead of a tiny shallow tub, would that be an attracting feature for you??

I sold a house in 2005 and claim the house selling exemption for my capitol gains and that time I was single. I got married in 2006 and before I got married my spouse sold her house and made a profit on it. We are now filing a joint return. Can we claim the capitol gains exemption since she was single at the time of the sell and meets all the requirements?

Are "Open House Showing" just a waste of time if you already have the home listed in the MLS. It seems like they just attract people who are browsing and not really serious about buying a home.
